windows defender not upating error 0xc80003f9

whenever i try to update this thing i keep getting an error message
0xc80003f9 ????????????? Thanks

I'm a novice at this type of thing...what do you mean by deleting folders in
Windows/Software Distribution?..Where do find it.Thanks

I'm always uneasy with this type of situation. It's a language barrier
thing. I just don't know what goes through your mind when you read my
instructions. I'm afraid I'll take too much for granted and we would do more
harm than good. Do you have a knowledgeable friend available who can help
you with your computer?

Just out of interest. Do you have any problems following the sugestion in my
post?

Do you run Ccleaner and Dial-a-Fix?

After you finish the run, do you reboot and went to check for the updates ??

Tell us what happen.
