Windows Defender - My 2p's worth

Just wanted my say, as I rather stupidly have been posting to the wrong
group...

To summarise my personal views -

1. I think everyone would like the return of the reassurance provided by a
permanent system tray icon

2. If track eraser is to return in IE7, then that’s something, but I would
still like to see it here, the interface was clear and intuitive

3. AARRRCGH - what have they done to the System Explorer? Yuk. Put it back
please.

Thanks for the effort though, it is free I suppose!

Thanks for the feedback. It will continue to be available without
additional cost to licensed Windows users.
 
Well I am quite happy for the system tray icon not to be there.

But I think that there should be an installation option to put a
shortcut on the desktop.
