Windows Defender is out of date, but does not find any new updates

Here are my current specs:

Windows Defender Version: 1.1.1051.0
Engine Version: 1.1.1185.0
Signature Version: 1.0.0.0

When I check for updates, it says "Windows Defender found no new definitions
or engine updates available."

I have already tried checking windows update (I use Microsoft Update) and
did both express and custom, but nothing was available to download.

I have also tried uninstalling the virus definitions via the Run command
"Msiexec /x {A5CC2A09-E9D3-49EC-923D-03874BBD4C2C}" and still no luck.

Any ideas??

Same thing happened to me.

Using:Windows XP SP2
Windows Defender Version: 1.1.1051.0
Engine Version: 1.1.1186.0
Deleted: Signature Version: 1.14.1350.3

24 days since Signature Update.
I downloaded and installed "Windows Install Clean Up",
Ran the program and deleted Windows Defender Signatures and then went to
windows update and clicked on Express update.
After it ran it shows no updates available.
So now what?

Now the msg. no updates for 24 days is no longer there. Am I updated or not?
Windows update didn't update. But I did reboot.
 
Those posted numbers are up to date.

Same thing. but 57 days since updating!
