I just upgraded my XP system by installing a new master drive. I used the
Western Digital imaging software to copy XP and apps to the new drive. I
couldn't run Windows Defender and also couldn't reinstall or delete it. After
reading posts, I downloaded and installed the Windows Install Cleanup Program
and deleted Win Defend. I also installed a new version of the installation
tool.
The download begins and passe verification. When it gets to system services,
it halts with the following message, "verify you have sufficient privileges
to start system services." I am signed in as the administrator. Can anyone
help? I've spent hours on this...
