Windows defender install will not run

After downloading WD, I get a error (Invalid Drive H:). I do not have a
drive H:, Never selected or tried to create a drive H:. Anyone has any
ideas?

Hello Tim,

More specifically, what is Drive:H on your system... a CD, a DVD, a second
internal/external hard disk? It would also be good to know what you have
mounted (or inserted) at drive H if there is anything there.

I am having a similar issue, but mine is referring to a Invalid drive k:

Once, long ago, I had a k drive mapped for my wife to a central share, long
ago gone.

I Re established the letter share to a generic folder and redid the install,
it worked fine. Once it was done, I disconnected the share.

Must be some ghost relation to the link, good luck.
