windows defender help

I need help w/ my program, i have spyware on my comp already, but when
windows defender runs a scan and detects the files, i tell it to remove the
programs. but instead, midway through it's trying to remove these files, an
error message pops up saying: "operation identifier not valid." and the
spyware is still stuck on my comp

Have you tried the cleaning operations running in safe mºde?

Have you scanned your system for malware (spyware, adware, trojans, and
other pests) using other tools, like Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, a-Squared, ewido,
Spyware Doctor, Pest Patrol (online)?
