Everytime the pc is booted/rebooted I get the following error reported by the
event viewer.
Event id 3004
Scan id {67E0E3A0-D697-4D39-A8F1-9DD23B606A4A}
Source windows defender
Path found driver:mchlnjDrv
The scan id is different every boot
I appreciate any help to resolve this issue.

I believe you are seeing an unknown event being logged to your event viewer.
These events would be expected until we classify the file.

Rhanks for your clarification. Does it mean this is not a problem for the user. Also will you please explain what do you mean by classifying the file. I sit something that microsoft will fix

All it tells you and I is that something hit our real time protection
"agent" and we do not know what the file is. We classify files through a
process to determine if it is spyware or not, and at this time that
file/process/etc. has not been classified by us as of yet.
