it's the 1st time i noticed WU is updating before windows defender
website-where
definition version: 1.67.62.0 is the latest ...

Actually it has happened several times.

It is one of the reasons, there are a few, that there is a delay between the
announcement and the posting of the link.
You will note that the link post usually has a:
"the "pushed" version and the portal version are in sync"
comment. I try to do that on purpose.

I assume the portal will catch up soon.

Windows Defender Delta Update: 1.67.136.0 Link

The link is as follows:

http://download.windowsupdate.com/m..._dfe9b2eab2b892088cd1aa41928c9043dda2bb36.exe
Size is only 295kb, and it will not trigger a system restore point

As always, if you need the Full Engine and Full Defs update
[for example after a new install/reinstall of Defender]
you can get it at the Microsoft Malware Protection Center:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/
https://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Definitions/ADL.aspx
The full MPAS-FE is currently 10.9 MB

[As of this moment: (04:50pm CDT USA)
the "pushed" version and the portal version are NOT in sync, the portal
still seems to have 1.67.62.0 ]

?:-)

Re :

In my experience, indicating the folders is not enough, you have to give the
full path to each file, including the file name.
