Tim,
I saw a UTube where the only installation this dude liked was into their
shredder. But I'm an XP folk, and wanted to know where my desktop icon went
fro defender? It 1st was replaced by the generic icon but could not map to
the SW. My sys shows all updates including defender. Any ideas? Does
anyone know the active processes for defender? Etc...

PS It alsow looks as if the web page is hacked as I'm seeing all sorts of
mods to the alphanumeric typing like Windows where the "o" has been put into
a superscript

I don't understand the YouTube part.

WD does not by default create a desktop icon; I dragged the shortcut
from the Start menu. The icon is located in the MSASCui.exe module.

The active WD process is MsMpEng.exe

I also don't understand about the "hacked" web page - which one?
http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/ADL.aspx looks normal to me.

Be careful Pat,

I smell London College ;-)

If you set a Vista disk in the CD tray upside down,
you can hear SATANIC VOICES!
But that isn't the worst of it,
if you set it the right way IT INSTALLS VISTA!
