Hi
(I'm french, then excuse for my english writing ...)
I don't need special help. Just for information.
(this machine is just reinstalled since a week = clean)
Since three days, XP SP2 (uptodate) completly crash, always at the same
time.
At first time, I think that it could be a ethernet card driver fault (power
off after a long period of no activity)
I suppress this function (and the awake mode)
==> Same crash the day after
Secondly, I uninstall Windows Defender Beta 2 (up to date too)
==> Two days without crash.
Crash reports have been sent to Online Crash Analysis :
Type = 15758582, 15755725 and 15752614
Sorry but, when crash occurs, I'm away from keyboard.
I don't know the STOP hex error number.
When the system restarts (automaticly) and I logon, XP tell me about the
crash and send a report.
The only information I get is the generic "Error caused by a pilot of
peripheral" (original french message is "Erreur causée par un pilote de
périphérique")
Antivirus : Kaspersky 5.0.391 (uptodate)
Firewall : ZoneAlarm 6.1.737 (not pro)
Due to hardware configuration ? I don't know.
List of hardware (no driver problem reported) :
Motherboard : MSI "848P Neo2-V", with ethernet card
CPU : Intel Pentium 4, 3 GHz
Memory : 1 Go RAM
Video : Radeon 9600 Pro (dual screen)
HDD : 2 x Maxtor 120Go (not Raid)
CD writer
DVD reader
USB external DVD writer
