I have a Dell Inspiron 1521 with Vista installed. I am happy with the role
of Windows Defender, but I have one issue: when my computer boots up, the
only programs that auto-start at startup are Windows Defender, McAfee
Security Center, Microsoft System Configuration Utility, and Windows Userinit
Logon Application. At startup, Windows Defender gets ahead of these programs
and each and every time, the bubble pops up from the taskbar that says
"Windows has blocked some startup programs," when my computer hasn't had a
split-second to to be classified as "Permitted," even though they always
become "Permitted" after Windows Defender realizes they're legitimate
programs. It's getting to be a pain to have to open Windows Defender every
time I startup my computer. Is there anything that can be done to resolve
this, other than to opt out of Windows Defender starting when the computer
boots?
