Windows Defender and Windows update don't show the same version

Hi,

With Win Defender, the sig version appear to be 1.14.1315.1 and is not
modified by the last update done by MS-Update (1.14.1350.3 installed
succesfully).

What do you suggest to solve this problem?

If you shut down the window (using the cross in the top right hand corner)
and then open it again it usually updates the home screen. Having said
that mine updated without having to close and re-open today.

I tried this and also shut and restart without success.
I also tried MSIEXE /x suggested in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/915105/en-us and got an error message:
Installation source unavailable...
Windows Innstaller Clean Up told me that sig. is 1.20.1315.1 instead of
1.14....
Cleanning this entry solved my problem.
