Windows Critical Updates-SLOW

Hi, I'm trying to use Windows Updates to install the
critical Updates on my work computer and it is very SLOW.
It occasionally hangs and uses 100% of CPU resources.
Does anyone have a suggestion? or is this another
microsoft FIX.
 
Calvin, how many are you downloading and installing at a time? Best to
just download 3 or 4 and remove the rest from
the list.
