How do I check how long my windows has been running with crashing? I realise
this might not be the right group for this but could not find any better.

The machine has been turned off many times but I want to see how long it has
been since my last BSOD. Reason: A bet with a friend that does not believe
me :)

Thx...

If the system crashes, then there is an entry in system event log. You can
calculate the time from that value. Or you can use uptime.exe (from windows
resource kit) or psuptime.exe (from www.sysinternals.com) which calculates
the system uptime.

The problem with the uptime tools is that it checks for how long my system
has been running. I do shut the computer down occasionally but that is not
to be considered a system crash.

By checking the system log I can't see if an entry has caused a system
crash. I do see a few errors but I know for sure that I have not seen a BSOD
on my system ever. Problem is that I want to prove it. Is it possible?
