I can use a little help here. I have a newer AMD athalon
64 3000+ on a K8T-NEO mobo, running a 120gSATAHD with a
OEM version of Windows XP Pro. My problem is that I can't
get windows to start up. It will start, show the windows
screen for approx. 14sec., then show a flash of a blue
screen of death error, then restart. I tried to restart
in safe mode, but when it tries, it lists all the current
drivers, freezes for a moment, then restarts again. I
believe I have traced my problem down to "How to recover
from a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP from
starting", located on windows help page somewhere, but this
thread only applies to NON-OEM versions of Windows. If
anyone can tell me if I might be on the right track here
for starters, would be greatly appreciated, furthermore,
if anyone knows a FIX for this issue that I might be
having, it would be even better. Thank you all in advance.
