Hi people,

i have Contacts located in %userprofile%\Contacts and other in Outlook
(2010)

i dont understand why those are not sync !!??

or any option like where we want store contacts (Windows contacts
(.contacts) or inside outlook !)

Did you know if there any solution ?

and/or did you know what microsoft plan to do about it ?

Not sure if MS will produce some sort of sync process eventually but
currently the OS level stuff isn't synced with Outlook.

Because the designers of Windows Contacts and the designers of Outlook wished
to leave reconciliation of the two contact stores to the user and didn't wish
to create a sync process. This is no different than Outlook Express and
Outlook. Nothing would automatically sync Outlook's Contacts and the Windows
Address Book either.

yeah not Automatically is great, but at least leave a option to do so !
hope this problem will be fixe in a soon futur.

I don't believe that will ever happen. What incentive would there be to make
sure both contacts sync? Outlook's contacts, in my opinion, would supplant
the Windows contacts. Why use two contacts databases when one will do? Why
even install Outlook if you don't intend to use it? What can Windows Contacts
do that Outlook's can't?
