Windows closing automatically....PLEASE HELP!!!

I just subscribed to Direcway satellite internet. Now when I open internet
explorer and I have more than one window open, when I go to close one, all of
the windows close. Direcway tells me it is not their problem. But I didn't
have this problem until I subscribed to them. I used AOL before. Please
help if you can. I am desperate.

Check for BHO. E.g. temporarily uncheck
Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)
(in Options, Advanced tab, Browsing section)

This will only identify if you have a symptom cause from this source.
It won't help you control a particular cause but may cause other
features which you do want to stop working.


You didn't disclose your OS. If it is XPsp2 use its new Manage Add-ons
tool to further isolate your symptom cause.
