Hi,
While try to load the certficate I can't find in the list

Could you please be a bit more specific? How are you trying to load the
certificate, and in which list you can't find the certificate?

Thanks,
Jan.

Hi Jan,

I have microsoft Certficate Authority installed on Windows 2003 server.
from this certficate authoroity I have configired IIS site SSL.

using the the same Certificate Auhtoirity I am trying to install the client
certficates following microsoft default application http://servername/certsrv

I am loading the certricate using the IIS feature

Directory security tab >EDIT>Require Secure SSL>Require client Certificate.

This feature allows me to load the certficate.

so I am able to install the certficate on windows vista. but when i tried to
load using this feature I can't find the cetficate in the certficate list.

Thanks
Surya

Hi Haitao,

using this article only I able to install the certificate in vista.
Now my problem is when the IIS site turned on Certificate requires then the
asp application try to find the existing client certficates on the vista
system, but the vista system not showing up any certificate.
I don't know what's the problem.

Thanks
Surya

If you're using the IIS wizard to install a certificate on the Vista client
you're not going to be able to use that certificate for client
authentication as it only contains the OID for server authentication (which
makes sense since IIS is a server application, not a client app). You'll
need to request and install a certificate that is actually designed to be
used for client authentication.

You need to provide more specific details as to what you're doing. So far
you've been very vague which makes it nearly impossible to help you. Tell
us exactly step by step, from the beginning, what you're doing.
