I'm trying again. It's been years and I still haven't found a good
replacement for the old Windows cardfile program. I like this
original best of all, still! All I would see is clickable links so
that email addresses and webpages can be easily accessed by a link
(also, if memory serves, Cardfile is 8.3 rather than LFNs so a 32bit
replacement would be ideal). Having a standalone like Cardfile would
be great, too. I remember running it off of floppies.
I've looked and looked, again, this morning with again no luck. AZZ
Cardfile and Treepad and others I've tried throughout the years are
all great but don't do the job. I'm looking, just for trialing, at
some shareware, but despite promises, have a feeling they won't cut
it, either.
If anyone knows of something that is not tree-based, that has
rolodex-style accessibility to cards, i.e., access via alphabet-style
buttons, but that also has clickability, pls advise.
Thanks everyone!
