We have recently promoted a w2k server to a domain controller by running DCPROMO. We have a large number of users that require roaming profiles within our office as they move desks from time to time.

I have issued the profile path on the user accounts for the users in active directory which point to the profiles share on the w2k server. I can see that when the user logs onto the w2k client machine for the first time the directory is created on the profiles share which is located on the w2k server. The problem I am having is that when the user logs off they get the following error:-

Windows cannot update your roaming profile. Contact your network administrator.
Detail: ACCESS IS DENIED

I have looked at the share level permissions which are everyone full control and also the NTFS permissions which are everyone full control. Our w2k client machines are using sp4 with the latest updates.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Win2K (they start
microsoft.public.win2000)

This newsgroup is for questions about forms in Access, the database product.

(Oh, and by the way, it's considered inappropriate to post to newsgroups in
HTML)
