I'm having aninstance, where, if I try to change Group Policies, I get the
following popup error message:
Security Templates
Windows cannot update the policies
Some other observations.
Windows 2000 SP4
This happens even if I change the policy on a Domain Controller logged in as
an Admin.
When I click ok, and exit the policy, it the entry appears to go into the
group policy, but I'm not so sure it's doing it right.
This looks to me to be some sort of permissions thing, but I'm not sure
where it's happening, or where the permissions problem is coming from.
The Domain admin has rights to the sysvol directory naturally.
Any ideas ?
