My member servers keep logging the event "Windows cannot
query for the list of group policy objects. A message that
describes the reason for this was previously logged by the
policy engine.". There is no previous log and group
policies are no longer being applied to the servers.

Can some help shed some light on the subject.

Thanks

1- Verify that the OU GPO has Authenticated Users with Read and Apply Group
Policy.

2- Verify that the OU itself has Authenticated Users with Read permissions.

NOTE: You would need to select Advanced View in AD Users and Computers in
order to see the Security Tab on the OU Properties.
3- Run gpupdate tool.

Thanks for the info, but the permissions checked out fine.
The servers are Windows 2000 Member servers with service
pack 4 applied. The problem started to arise after service
pack 4. Also, the Domain Admins can access shares on the
servers but Domain Users cannot. All the permissions for
NTFS and Shared Folder are fine. Wierd...
