I am getting the following error on my Windows 2000 terminal server
Source Userenv
Event ID 1000
user NT\Authority System
Windows cannot process extension Folder Redirection ProcessGroupPolicy.
Return value (0x5)

What does this mean and what can I do to fix?

Windows 2k can't handle folder redirection. 2003 and XP can.

Unfortunately, incorrect. Win2K does Folder Redir just as well as XP and
2003. 0x5 is an Access Denied error, most likely indicating incorrect
permissions on the share that you're trying to redirect to. Check out this
article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/274443/en-us and see if that helps.

Crap, I hate it when I'm wrong. I haven't supported many Win2k clients in a
long time, but I could've sworn folder redirection didn't work via group
policy on Win2k....thanks for the correction, and I'll just slink off into
the corner now to rock back and forth while mumbling incoherently. :)

Don't take it too hard, we all have our bad days.
