I would just like the shed some info that I have gained on this error
as i feel I ow this forum something back :0)
OK for those of you recieiving this error, it can be a nightmare,
having no computer policy loading is annoying and can be a security
threat.
OK, I first recieved this error message on my workstation after
changing the network interface to use DHCP rather than a static.
So there's a one resolution, change your network adapter to use a
static IP config.
For those of you who want to use DHCP like my self, try this.
Open up device manager, goto properties of the network card in use,
click advanced, then link speed/duplex mode and simply try different
methods, mine was set to "100 full mode" (this was due to something i
did along time ago) after i changed it back to auto, I stoped recieving
the group policy error and i was also DHCPed!
I am not saying this will work with everyone, or anyone else, I just
thought i would give out my little story :0)
