Hi
I've a problem reaching \\127.0.0.1
When I type it in windows explorer,I got an error message:
windows cannot find '127.0.0.1'...
It's winXP SP2 on P3 and I disable my Norton Internet Security
What's wrong?
I hadn't this problem before.
Can you help me?

Norton is "famous" for still being "active" even when we tell it to be
"disabled." You need to create an access rule or to completely
"remove" NIS (add/remove programs and the enhanced Norton removal tool
found on Norton/Symantec's web site.)

Hi
Although I think I was able to reach \\127.0.0.1 with NIS with current
rules I
set a rule for 'microsoft windows explerer' to permitt all.
Is it the rule youe meant or I should set it for some other programs?
Thank you

There should be a method (???) of allowing the 127.0.0.1 to be access
by all. Please note that this address is also commonly known as
"localhost."
