Windows can not start?

After I installed defender and restart my computer.
The screen only shows the wallpaper nothing else!
No icon, no task bar, no menu...
I am using windows 2000 professional with sp4

Can you boot into Safe Mode? If so, uninstall Windows Defender and see if it
corrects the issue.
