windows can not connect to domain...

this is new comp.xp professional s.pack2....when i login
it gives "windows can not connect to domain either d.controller is down or
otherwise unavailable...or your comp. account was not found..try again
later....."

message...but if i login locally i could see the n/w connection..even other
computers
in the netwrk....the same message come to Administrator also.
i never faced this in my n/w...i changed n/w card ...it is same....

I would check the DNS first. or check this page,
