When I was using Outlook 2003 as my mail client, I would have birthdays and
anniversaries populated for my Contacts in Outlook 2003....and those dates
would automatically show up in my Outlook 2003 Calendar.

Now that I have switched to Windows Mail...when I update my contacts'
birthdays, etc....I do not see those dates auto-populated on Windows
Calendar.

Do Windows Contacts and Windows Calendar NOT talk to each other and self
populate on the calendar?? If there is a way to do this, please let me
know.

Thanks...

apparently Vista Calendar is not friendly with other ms products.

I really wish the two would integrate, it would make them so much more useful.

for sure, when entering appointments, have to do it 2 times, once for calendar and 2nd time for hotmail calendar.

I don't expect any improvement in this situation.
Microsoft wants you to buy Outlook if you want Contacts and Calendar
to be integrated.

Not integrating the 2... at least for me... makes both programs
useless. I'm just waiting for Thunderbird to advance their lighting
extension....
