Windows believes HD is only 128G

My computer (windows XP pro) believes that my 3rd HD is only 128G, though in reality it is a 250G drive. I have a promise controller that is functioning properly, i know this because it is able to read my 2nd HD (of 200G) properly. My 3rd HD used to be recgonized properly, but then when i reinstalled windows it got messed up. Please help, thanks
 
In re-installing Windows Xp, did you re-install SP1??
