Windows Appearance

I cannot get my windows xp default appearance, all I get is classic. Any
Ideas, tried appearance on control panel, tried settings, any ideas?

Right click the Start button, select the top radio button.

....and Select Properties form the desktop, Appearance, Select XP color
scheme.

Go to the following website and scroll down to Line 187, right side. Click on the Restore Luna Theme link to download the file. Unzip the file and move the Resources folder to the C:\Windows folder. This will replace the existing Resources folder at that location. You will need to confirm the replacement. This will install a fresh copy of the default XP theme called Luna. Reboot the system and then right click the Desktop and select Properties/Appearance Tab. In the Windows and Buttons drop down menu, select the XP Style item.
