we just bought a bunch of Sony Vaio laptops that come with Home Premium, and
want to upgrade to Ultimate. However the website states:
Windows Anytime Upgrade is not available in your country/region at this
time. You can purchase the edition of Windows Vista you are interested in at
a Microsoft authorized merchant. We use US equipment in the caribbean. How
can this be solved?

Use a proxy server based in the USA. Set the Internet Options,
Connections, LAN Settings, Proxy Server to the address of the one
you're going to use. As far as MS is concerned, you're accessing the AU
from the USA. If you've an installation DVD, you don't need an Anytime
Upgrade one as "one does all".

You'll need to purchase a Windows Vista Ultimate upgrade license
for each computer you wish to upgrade since the Anytime Upgrade
offer is not currently available in your geographical area.
