hi,
getting pretty peturbed here.

yes i bought window vista home premium, i have been using it since the very
day it came out and not a problem.
today now i'm being told by a box that my windows is not genuine, go here
and validate it.
ok, i think this is strange but go to validate anyways, it says in my system
that yes i am running vista home premium and that my copy of windows IS
validated.
over on the right side it says get genuine...
i click on it and there's the problem, it will not make me genuine i keep
clicking on it and it just keeps going back to tell me that i have 2 options
to validate

click validate or phone it in.

what is wrong here ? i have now lost my aero and can't get it back. when i
go to personalization it only has options for vista basic and old windows
that i do not want.

anyone know what i should do?

thanks,
michael.

i have just run the windows genuine diagnostic tool
and under the windows tab in RED is invalid license.

what does this mean to me ?
please any help would be great.

michael.

I have a work laptop and I had XPSP2 installed with a Volume Licence and
after running Windows Update I was told it wasn't genuine. I had to format
and start again to get rid of the trojan/spyware from MS telling me I had
stolen something.
