I am having a problem that I can't quite figure out the answer too so I thought I might get some inout here, here it is:
I recently moved and all my software if packed away somewhere unknown to me I tried to boot my Windows XP Home edition up on my laptop and all I get is the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" and no I am not pressing F8. I have tried all the boot options and it just returns me to the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" So, is there a way that I can get out of that menu to a command prompt so that I might be able to try and solve my problem there, or does anyone have a simpler answer then this?? I do not have any boot disks though I am frantically looking for them. PLEASE HELP!!
