When i activate my windows error message come to me it shown as

A problem occured when windows tried to activate, Error Code 0xC004E003

If you receive one of these error codes, reactivate Windows Vista. To do
this, follow these steps:1. Open the System item in Control Panel. To do
this, click Start, type System in the Start Search box, and then click
System in the Programs list.
2. In the Windows activation section, click the Change product key link. If
you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the
password.
3. In the Product key field, type the product key, and then click Next.
4. Follow the steps in the Windows Activation Wizard to complete the
activation process.
 
Sorry for resurrecting such an old post however I seem to have come by
this error. And the steps I should take to fix it lead me right back to
the same problem. Everytime I click the change button it brings backup

...and did you go to the MS article cited, and try the resolution
there?
what was the error code given by MS Activation??

Additionally, is your OS OEM or retail?
(Are you trying to overwrite the manufacturer's PID with the PID on the
bottom of the computer?)
(Won't work.)
