Windows XP Windows 98

I still have Windows 98 - I know a bit old....anyway, I would like to do an upgrade, but don't know what to upgrade to - I just use computer at home for some documents, emails and searching and of course, some games. I heard it is "tricky" to upgrade to like Microsoft XP - any helpful hints?? Thanks.

what are the specs of the system ?, chances are if it came with 98 its not up to running XP but we'll need to know what the spec is first

if you could download and run the following program, then on the left click 'computer' > 'summary' and list the

CPU make and speed, the amount of RAM and the graphics card and the hard drive size

Spec is what CPU (speed in GHz and Make), amount of RAM/Memory, hard drive space, Mothrboard make, Graphics card details... stuff like that. Explaining whats on the INSIDE of your PC
