Hello people!

Does someone here have a driver for the Aztech Sound III 336SP (AZT2320/AZT3005
chips), that works with Windows 98? I only find Win95 drivers, but found
something here:

http://www.soundcard-drivers.com/companies/152.htm , but there are a lot of
drivers and I am unsure about which one to download.

Thanks! (and sorry for the crosspostings!)

Have you tried the Windows 95 drivers? Most Windows 95 drivers will work on Windows
98.

That's not suprising, it is the same OS with new icons. Although, I'm suprised they gave it a different name. :-)

Just to confirm what you have, check the FCC ID. It'll be printed along the
edge of the card itself. If you have what I think you do, you should see
"FCC ID: I38-MMSN855" Look carefully. If you're not confortable opening the
case, then forget it, and just assume that that is what you have.

I have that card and 98SE seems to have its own drivers for it. It doesn't
recognise it exactly for what it is (I belive it's called an "Aztech
2320-comaptible sound device" or some such thing) but it works.

I also have tested the Win95 drivers, and they work under 98SE without
problems. So go ahead and use those if you prefer.

I believe this is actually what you want (despite what the page says, this
is the Win95 driver; check the file dates, all files are from 1997 or
older):

I know how to work inside a computer, but I don't have the tools to open the
case anymore... I don't remember where I placed my tools. :/

I will take a try at this, thanks!
