Can you tell me how to extract just one file from a .7z archive
using 7- zip? Seems you have to extract every file in the archive
rather than just the one you need...

Just open the 7z file with its file manager (7zFM.exe for Win9x or
7zFMn.exe for Win NT), select the file(s) you want to extract and
press F5 or select 'File', 'Copy'.

Hope this helps

It does immensely. I haven't used it a lot, but I think 7-Zip has great
potential.

Thanks for the help!

Does it work for XP too???
