I redownloaded the Windows 98 CD due to Modem Problems.
Windows 98 Fixed That problem, but created another
problem. I use AOL and now that the modem problems are
fixed I can sign onto AOL,,BUT the last window to come up
on getting into AOL is a Window Showing 98 Microsoft
Networking Password Stating that without a password I
cannot get into the internet. I close this window but do
not know how to get rid of it from coming up. I called
Microsoft Tech and they referred me to your Article -
152104. I printed it out and followed all the
instructions. Problem is still there and I cannot get rid
of it. I do not use MSN to get on the internet I use AOL
only. Please help me solve the problem. Thx for all your
help. Don Stearns.. Reply to my E-Mail address of

I'd suggest asking this in one of the Windows 98 newsgroups: they all start
microsoft.public.win98

This newsgroup is for questions about security in Access, the database
product.

One of the fundamental rules of newsgroups is if you post a question to the
newsgroup, you come back to the newsgroup to get the answer. It's extremely
presumptious to expect personal e-mail responses.
