But Windows 7 is built on the Windows Vista kernel so how are you getting
rid of Vista? Anyone who thinks that Windows 7 signals the end of Vista is
deluded. Windows 7 is Windows Vista with extra eye candy.

Yes! Also sad that Win7 is what Vista always should have been. Even
sadder that MS is making money on it twice (once by selling vista, then
again by selling Win7).

And 2 years from now people will be saying that Windows 8 is what Windows 7
should have been. You can blow this out for 20 years and people will still
think that Microsoft has no right to charge for their product!

Yes, and people like you (a.k.a. boiling frog) helped the company to move
backward whilst the majority has been moving forward. Had Vista released
even close to Windows 7 RC, most people wouldn't have had the time,
interest, or energy (other than the usual competitors) for criticizing it.

Maybe it's difficult for fanbois (and old timers) to comprehend and believe
but people don't usually hate a company such as this one, they (and we) just
hate poorly designed products and welcome those with true improvements.

Personally, I skipped Vista and already made a decision for upgrading at
least two home systems to Windows 7.

So am I a MS hater or Vista hater? I don't know but I know that I am not a
boiling frog :)

Two different car models can share the same car engine design (which is a
widely used model now) but that doesn't mean they are two identical cars.

It's a very shallow argument especially from someone with a tag.

And, back in the 60's, next years model would have different tail fins and a
different paint scheme - yet cost hundreds more. People bought them without
any question as a new model/version, gladly paying the difference. I saw my
parents go through this time and again.

this means that RTM will be out by the end of next month at the latest...
this means we can kiss VISTA CRAP GOODBYE good ridens and RIP bastardized
OS

Vista is solid, fast and secure :)
what seems to be YOUR problem?

Rich

so you are basically a stupid reptile because your ansestor was a
reptile millions of years ago?

NOW WAIT A MINUTE. A SWINEHOONT IS NOT A REPTILE.
Paint.exe existed since windows version 2. Does this make Windows7 the
same as windows 2?

The first airplane the wright brothers flew had wings, and followed the
same laws of aerodynamics todays supersonic jets have. But are they the
same thing?

Windows 7 is THE REPAIRED version of windows Vista (aka crapista).
Its like taking a bucket of sewage and shit ok? (vista), then putting it
through a processing plant and pure clean water comes from out of it.

Is the water the same as the shit? No...

Vista was a black page in microsoft history... they will try to rip that
page off and burn it as fast as possible...

Just like MS Bob

Why not since the major oil leak (networking, copying files, easy switch
network, UAC, much better hardware and software compatibility - just to name
a few) problem has been solved and it's much mature than the test model
while the engine/kernel may not be the source of the main problem(S)?

Engine/Kernel is just one determinant factors of a car/OS.

so whatever you dont understand you label as a troll.

Did you call your teachers trolls too when they were trying to teach you
a few basic things?

He's made up his mind: mere facts will not deter him!

Vista has been out 2.5 years:
"Results 1 - 10 of about 135,000 for "vista sucks". (0.22 seconds)"

XP has been out 7.5 years:
"Results 1 - 10 of about 11,300 for "xp sucks". (0.16 seconds)"

Extrapolating for the years, Vista sucks 35 times worse than XP (But
we knew that without the math lesson).
