Windows 7 - Imports with Underscores

I have an Access database that is in Access 2003. I have upgraded my machine
from Windows XP to Windows 7 and a certain import process now won't work on
my machine but still works on another co-worker's Windows Xp machine (both
running Access 2003). Come to find out the culprit is a csv file that has an
underscore in the name. The import process uses the vb code to import the
file from a shared drive into a table in Access. It gets hung up every time
on the file with the underscore. If you rename the file wihtout the
underscore then it works great. Has anyone encountered this before and if so
is there a fix (other than renaming the file)?

As a simple test of the source of the problem, first try opening the file in
Internet Explorer.

It opens just fine in Internet Explorer.

Dunno then. I think IE should show up most strange network
trust things, so I would have expected the same kind of problem.

Make sure it's a "trusted" location anyway, just to be sure,
but my next guess would be that you might have a character
substitution problem -- what do you see when you check the
short name of every file in that folder?
