Mr.Magic

Has anybody used VS2008 with Windows 7? I am getting a new laptop with XP
and will rebuild it with Windows 7 soon (after W7 releases) but want to make
sure that VS2008 doesn't have issues with it.

How about SQL Server 2008?

TIA - Jeff.

I have installed VS2008 with SP1 on Windows 7. It appears to run
perectly well. In fact, I have used it to compile and run several of the
samples in the Windows 7 SDK, as well as the Windows API Code Pack and
several of the examples that it includes (which target new functionality
available only in Windows 7).

Both work just fine with Win 7. 2010 will work fine with it as well.

All's well here with both x64 and x86 Win 7 RTM. Enjoy :-)

Nope, you still are having issues. Wrong subject... Scripting probably
won't work in most readers.

Thanks! I just got the new laptop yesterday. Going to put Win 7 RTM on it
and then start installing everything on it!

Yay me!
