If you load Outlook in Safe mode (start->run->outlook.exe /safe) does it
load faster? If yes, then I would look at the add-ins you have installed as
there may be something that now conflicts with the new OS. Try disabling
all add-ins, start Outlook normally, enable each add-in and restart after
each time until you find the one that causes the slow startup.

After furious head scratching, deeceem asked:
