Hi,

using embedded drivers in Windows 7 this printer works well, also as
scanner. The only issue is that there isn't any tool to check ink levels
or for maintenance aims.

Do you have any suggestions ?

Thanks all,
Ale

Did you check the CD that came with the printer, for software ?

Using a tool like 7-ZIP, you might explore some of the
software packages (using the "open inside" function), to
see if there is a simple utility for checking ink level.

Thanks, I'll check ... even if I think ink check is embedded in HP
Control Center which can't be installed alone and the installation
package on cd is not compatible with Windows 7.

The last solution before buying a new printer will be creating a virtual
machine with xp ...
