First of all, please check the following article to ensure that Change
Password Permissions setting is correct (Everyone has this permission and
the Deny check box is not selected).

If the problem still persists, please let us know the following:
1. The exact error message. (If possible, please post the screen shot.)
2. Does the problem occur with every account? Also, does it occur on every
client machine?
3. Did it occur before?
4. Please also let us know whether the end user is changing password
through trust.

|I have the following problem. When users are prompted to
|change password and they try they get an error saying that
|they do not have permissions to change the password. I
|have check the user account and the change password
|permission is set. I have checked the local security and
|the domain controller policy and all these have the right
|they need. Maybe I am missing something...but would
|greatful if someone could give me any ideas or at least
|have me double check something.
