I was recently trying to set up a home network but only manages to
make Windows 2K ask me to log in each time I restart Windows.

I have been trying to find away to turn of the log-on but I have not
found anything that looks like it will do it, could someone please
tell me how to disable the logon feature at start-up.

Ummm - seen the letters "xp" in the title of this news group?

User Accounts in Control Panel. Ckear Users Must Enter Name And Passwords

If you have XP then to get there you type control userpasswords2

Thank you David

That seems to have done the trick, My Win XPH computer has been in the
workshop since early last week and I don't know when they will fix it,
I have put together a backup computer out of parts to use in the mean
time and the only OS I had that I could install was Win2k Pro, so I am
trying to get this system up to speed and keep it as a backup.

Thank you again for your help.

So why post in a windows XP group if you have W2K installed?
