windows 2003 server

currently all of my servers are windows 2000. (4) dc's. I am about to
replace one server so I wouldn't mind bumping it up to 2003 when i do. Is
there anything i need to know before i do that? Are there issues when
adding a 2003 server to the mix?

You have to do a forestprep and a domainprep prior to promoting the 2003
server to a DC. This is a schema modification, but should cause no problems
- how many people here are already running AD 2003 and have done this??

Howdy, Howdy!

To add to what Paul has stated - you might want to be aware of the problem
that this *can* cause if you are running Exchange 2000 ( with the mangled
attributes - there are three attributes that no likey this! ). There is a
fix for this posted in the MSKB.
