Does your Local DNS server have the zone for both the Primary and the connection specific DNS suffixes?
TCP/IP will try to register its addresses in the zone for both of these suffixes.
An ipconfig /all will help diagnose this.

There is no entry for the Unix Servers under the TCP/IP properties, the only entry that I have for those Unix Servers is in DNS properties under Forwarders Tab, is there anything else I could try to fix this problem?.
Thanks Mark
Remove the Unix DNS from your Win2k3 TCP/IP properties and point it back to it's own address for DNS.

My Windows 2003 Server DNS located on my campus is trying to update our main office DNS Server which is 10 miles away and is a Unix based system. How do I stop from updating this Unix system.
Thanks, Mark
