Windows 2003 Server as DC in Window s 2000 domain

Hi there,

Currently my company existing network is Windows 2000
domain. Recently my company has purchase Windows 2003
Server.

I can join the Windows 2003 Server to the existing domain
but when I try to promote the Windows 2003 Server as
Additional Domain Controller. It prompt an error message
indicate that the version is different!

How can I promote the Windows 2003 Server as Additional
Domain Controller in Windows 2000 domain?

If you wan't to use Windows Server 2003 as DC in Windows 2000 AD, then you
have first to extend Active Directory schema. You do that, by reading adprep
/foresprem and adprep /domainprep. Read the article on how to do that.
