Hi,
We have a Windows 2003 server with RAS installed on it for routing. We have
a demand-dial interface to VPN server (Windows 2003 as well).
The VPN server is known to work (ie: it as 70+ clients all the time).
However, this particular server doesn't connect, it logs event 20111 (see
details below) in the client and event 20050 in the server (see details
below). BTW: this is using PPTP.
If I create a VPN connection outside RAS (in Network connections\Add New
Connection) in the server it is able to connect!!! I would think that means
the connectivity is okay (I can, of course, ping and telnet to PPTP port).
I would think a demand-dial connection inside RAS has the same network
requirements than a VPN connection in Network connections, isn't that right?
Right now, I can only think that my operating system is somehow corrupted...
and I do not know what to do to fix it (reinstalling is not that easy).
Thanks for your help...
