I am running Windows 2003 Appliance Edition, the problem I am having is I
cannot connect with the RDC. Anyone have any ideas why I cannot connect. I
have enabled the remote access and I can connect using a 3rd party remote
client and have no problem.

the error is get is " The connection was ended because of a network error".

I know that there are no network problems because I can connect another way.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Gavin..

What do you mean with "Windows 2003 Appliance Edition"?
Windows 2003 comes in 4 flavours: Standard, Enterprise, Data
Center and Web Edition.
Or do you mean that you have installed Terminal Services (which
was called "Terminal Services in Application Server mode" in
Windows 2000)?

Is there anything in the EventLog on the TS when this happens? Do
you see any attempt to open a session in TS Manager? Are you not
able to connect with rdp at all? Is the user member of the Remote
Desktop Users group? Does this apply to you:

From
246109 - Error Messages Generated When Logging on with Terminal
Services Client
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=246109

Error message:
Because of a network error, the session will be disconnected.
Please try to reconnect.

Description:
The user is attempting to log on to a Terminal Server where an
administrator has specified a maximum connection limit, and the
limit has been reached. To change this value, open the Terminal
Services Configuration MMC snap-in, click Connections, double-
click a connection, i.e. RDP-TCP, then select the Network Adapter
tab. At the bottom of this tab are two options, Unlimited
connections and Maximum connections.
